It is a workshop of music, song and dance exploring how the two main traditions in Northern Ireland view cultural heritage. We explore how community conflict has impacted on arts expression, especially traditional music and dance.

To encourage respect and understanding of cultural diversity.To build on an existing interest in traditional arts.


Professional musicians deliver a one hour performance of traditional tunes and songs. Group discussions and participation is encouraged through the use of flipchart exercises and percussion instruments. Resources include videos, CD's, overhead projector and traditional instruments. Handouts and evaluation sheets are provided at each workshop.
